Former @Nimble Storage president and CEO @Suresh Vasudevan Tuesday become the new president and CEO of @Sysdig, maker of an #opensource #container intelligence platform. The appointment comes one year after @Hewlett Packard Enterprise completed its $1.2 billion acquisition of all-flash storage vendor Nimble.   Vasudeva, a storage industry veteran, led Nimble for six years from 2011 during its startup days, through its acquisition by HPE in April, 2017. The company went public during that time, issuing an IPO in 2013. Prior to Nimble, he served as CEO of server and storage vendor at Omneon and served as senior vice president and general manager of the networked storage and manageability group at NetApp as part of a 10-year tenure there.  “[Sysdig] has unlocked a new data source at the heart of applications and created a unified platform that solves both security and monitoring challenges,” said Vasudevan in a statement. “No other platform can offer something so elegant and powerful.”
